1. In Ranji Trophy which bowler has bowled the maximum number of maiden overs in an inning without conceding any run in that inning? - Asked by Dilip Singh, India on Twitter
It is Manish Majithia who bowled 20 overs, all maidens, in the 4th inning for Madhya Pradesh against Railways at Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground in Indore in 1999/00. His figures were 20-20-0-1. Not only in Ranji Trophy, but it is the record in the whole first class cricket history. Railways scored 86 for five in 109 overs in the fourth inning for a draw. Out of 86, they scored 83 runs from 104 overs on the last day which is a first class cricket record for the fewest number of runs in a full day’s play.
